School visits

With help from Helen Brown, Phil Williams, David High and Dave and Sue Shaw, Rainforest Concern offers visits and talks to schools across the UK. These visits often generate a flurry of letters and fundraising initiatives from inspired teachers and their classes and we are always pleased to hear from them.

If you would like to know more or arrange a visit please write to [email protected]

Helen Brown, who worked with Rainforest Concern from 1997-2003, is visiting local schools to give talks on the importance of our rainforests, spreading the work of Rainforest Concern and getting the children excited about what they can do to help protect these precious ecosystems.

We are grateful as always to Phil Williams for visiting schools with Plan-it Eco.

Dave and Sue Shaw also continue to visit schools with their travelling "Rainforest Roadshow", and we thank them for their ongoing enthusiasm and support. We are also grateful to David High who has been visiting schools in Scotland and conducting rainforest talks.

Thank you!

The wonderful support we have received from schools across the UK and abroad has continued over the last year. Fundraising efforts have included "Rainforest Cafes", art work sales, cake sales, non-uniform days, sponsored walks, skips, hops and jumps and much more! Thank you for all your hard work and enthusiasm!
